Proper care is essential if our rug is to keep its natural fiber structure and hand-woven form for many years. When cleaning it, never use rug shampoos or detergents that contain chemicals.

In the event of liquid spills, immediate action is extremely important. If the liquid is left to sit for too long, the stain can sink down into the warp and become permanent. The moment a spill happens:

• First, blot the affected area thoroughly with a paper towel until it is dry.
• Then lather up white bar soap or soft soap only, and wipe gently with a clean cloth.
